In the normal condition after mid-February Belg season rain is starting in most parts of Belg rain benefiting catchments. According to this most parts of Abay Awash, middle and upper Baro Akobo Omo gibe, Rift Valley and some parts of Upper Genale Dawa Catchments will be expected sub-humid to humid condition. On the other hand, the daily temperature will be increased across most parts of belg benefit catchments. To minimize the moisture stress of water, we advise applying different water harvesting mechanisms at times of rain.
